Job Description

Pixel And Timber is a technically-driven product design and development company working in the medical device and consumer products industries. We are seeking a talented Industrial Designer to join our design team in downtown Cincinnati, OH.

Pixel and Timber was founded in 2017 to provide product design and development services to clients developing medical devices, consumer products and packaging. By leveraging the tools of industrial design and design-for-manufacturing, our small team translates ideas into realities — rapidly and cost effectively. We tailor our process to the needs of every project, and we are personally invested in each client’s success.

Our company seeks a dedicated and skilled industrial designer who excels at the technical side of design, including strategy, concept development, and design-for-manufacturing (DFM). We are looking for an applicant who can anticipate and internalize client and user needs; envision complex ergonomic, mechanical, and manufacturing solutions that marry form and function; and convey those solutions through sketching and Solidworks.

While our team thrives on the challenge of designing great products, our work is meant to support our lives — not the other way around. We leverage a lean business model and a regional focus to keep our business nimble, responsive and personal and to leave time for the adventure and exploration that keeps our work fresh and exhilarating. With a focus on developing personal projects and leaving time for family and travel, our team is a family of fun loving craftsmen dedicated to work and play.
